BedsideLingo is built to work without an account. We do not collect, sell or share your personal information.

What the app stores

The BedsideLingo iOS app saves the following on your device only:

Your learning progress and review history
The phrases you choose, your favourites and your notes
Phrase reports you create
Your settings, such as languages and practice preferences
A short log of recent technical errors, used for troubleshooting

This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no copy of it and cannot access it.

What we do not do

No account or sign-in
No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising
No access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos or location

The app does not connect to the internet to work. The phrases and recordings are included in the app.

Files you choose to share

You can export a backup of your progress, download your phrase reports, or download the error log. These files are saved where you choose. They only reach us if you decide to email them to us.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we do not share it.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.

Deleting your data

You can clear your learning progress at any time with Reset progress in the app’s Settings. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Children

BedsideLingo is intended for clinicians and adult learners. It is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
